34. Re-work cards must be returned to HID® in sequential order. If cards are not returned to EMACS®

in sequential order, EMACS® will apply a sort fee (part # MC-0014).

35. External Number on ProxCard™ II cannot be removed.

36. HID® will encode 10 digit Data Conguration on all cards ordered for use with the HID® magnetic

stripe readers unless instructed otherwise. For all other Non-HID® magnetic stripe readers,

please specify data conguration

37. All SmartID™, SmartTRANS™ and SmartTOUCH™ readers are sold in mullion mount size. For

single-gang mounting kit, please contact EMACS®.

38. HID® Prox™ and SmartTRANS™ readers are compatible ONLY with Corporate 1000 and 26-bit

formats.

39. SmartID™ Read/Write option can only be applied to model S10 and SK10 readers.

40. During the execution of the order could be introduced any changes in the design of materials,

only if this does not prejudice the quality levels of our supplies and resulting diminished assumed

no guarantees for this reason.

41. Each and every one of the documents or studies of any kind as sketches, designs, reports,

calculations, specications and similar reports, supplied or shipped to the CUSTOMER are

always the exclusive property of EMACS® and, in any case, may be used or disclosed to third

parties, without our prior written consent; giving rise to the obligation to compensate the non-

fulllment of the above.

42. In the price of materials is not included any expenses incurred by the manufacturing inspection

and receiving materials to be made by the CUSTOMER or by a representative, unless specic

clause; then the inspection or review must be clearly specied.

43. Our warranty is limited to the repair or replacement as soon as possible and on our own, of any

defective product or part, of failing to be checked and allocated to the raw material and / or

manufacturing defects.

a. Returns HID® material is subject to RMA process established by the manufacturer,

managed by EMACS®. The RMA process establishes the analysis of damage in the

material, and amounts refunds or substitutions, as determined by HID® or EMACS®.

b. For return of HID® products, by RMA request under warranty, a charge of € 73.47 applies

if the product does not have any default, in respect of shipping and test costs performed.

c. The RMA process is performed carriage paid by the CUSTOMER

d. General conditions for payments agreed may not be valid RMA process, as determined

by EMACS® and HID®.

44. EMACS® does not assume in any case, the responsibilities for other damages, direct or indirect,

as well as those resulting from downtimes due to repair or replacement of parts.

45. Using unrelated staff to our services to carry out modications or repairs jobs for our products,

immediately will override the duration of the warranty period.

46. All and any irregularities within the warranty shall be reported in writing immediately, with urgent

status and accompanied information with the reasons that have caused the failure, under penalty

of cancellation of that warranty.

47. Repair or modication or replacement of parts during the warranty period does not involve the

extension of the term thereof.

48. Parts replaced within the warranty period shall be in possession or under possession of EMACS®.

49. All trademarks and registered trademarks are the properties of their respective companies.

50. M. E. DORCAS® guarantees its products for FOUR YEARS from the date of departure from the

production line, against manufacturing defects that originate a malfunction. The warranty only

entitles to the free replacement of defective parts, excluding any compensation for damages that

the defect has have generated.

51. EMACS® reserves the right of ownership of all goods for which payment has not been entirely

satised invoice due and can remove it from the customer’s home or any other place where it

shall nd.
